To find out what one is fitted to do, and to secure an opportunity to do it, is the key to happiness. — John Dewey

I’ve been self-employed since 1978, building a steady, repeat customer base in the Rochester, New York area.  Six years of operations management prior to the consulting helps me ask the right questions – resulting in software designs that meet customer demands.  I’m good at anticipating the needs that you might not yet know you have!

I’m a self-professed geek.  It’s okay.  I married one too.  I have three non-geeky kids, and a granddaughter (the jury is still out whether she will inherit any of the geek in me).  When I’m not at the computer, I’m hopefully outside – soaking up the great New York weather.  I like to garden, but will admit I can’t tell the weeds from the plants.  I love walking/hiking/golfing/reading/writing and badminton/pickleball.  (It would be way more impressive if I said tennis, but I didn’t.)
